’22 Simmie Colson Classic Stock Risers WNBA Division
I don’t know how to just put my thoughts in the minds of others so that would understand the “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” and based on parents taking their children to satellite camps to get nationally ranked, the absurdity continues and is only going to get worse yet I have a way of doing things, mainly on my seeing them and after further review, I want to revisit t the WNBA Division and see just who elevated their status. Hold your horses, TOP PERFORMERS COMING NEXT
Neveah Craft (Westfield HS) Just Play Elite 17U Gold [2023]
Off the dribble she’s one of the CRAFTIEST in her class because that first step sets everything up for to either attack or drop the jumper yet with her court vision, she understands who and when to get the ball to at the right time
Amina Djibrine (The Village School) TNBA 17U [2023]
LOng and athletic will always be the base yet she turned up the treble, wait, it’s spelled TROUBLE as she not only rebounded on both ends, she also showed good timing to block shots and she played the passing lane yet her finishes were impressive as well
Seejeonna Anderson (Eisenhower HS) IJU 17 [2023]
I love players that just “find ways to put the ball in the basket” and she did just that. Mid to long-range, off the dribble, she wants the ball in the clutch and she delivers but she goes hard on both ends, on the ball defense was very nice
Aubrey Campbell (Klein Collins) Just Play Elite 17U Gold [2023]
Long and athletic will always be the base yet her poise on both ends fits her new squad nicely. She changes the offensive player’s minds when they attack, her wingspan is definitely part of it yet on top of her rebounding, she scored around the basket with ease
Taylor Spencer (Cleveland HS) Houston Lady Nets 2024 [2024]
Her game has taken off, in a huge way and when you understand the simple things that turn out to be big, well that’s huge so she can run both the 1 and 2 and drops the 3, even the 4 because she’s focused and stays with it after the lick, scary upside
Christin Callens (Klein Collins) Just Play Elite 17UGold [2024]
How can I say this, a terror inside the paint as she scores with players literally hanging on her yet she also can drop the midrange consistently as well as attack from anywhere but her rebounding, as well as her interior defense, definitely grabbed my attention
Mikaela Curtis (HOMESCHOOL) TNBA 16U [2024]
I wanted to put that 4th-grade picture up but I changed my mind like she has changed many other minds with her ability to get to her spot and drop. The shot is fluid, her release is quick and she forces nothing, well turnovers because she defends on the ball and plays the passing lane
Cynthia LeCompte (Barbers Hill) Uptempo Sports [2024]
Caught her a few years ago with another team, dropped her on the Tip Sheet because I saw what was coming and as usual I was right because she’s one of those “never takes a play off” type of players that can score both with her jumper and attacking and finishing after contact, plus her defense is solid
Jasmine Timmons (Bellaire HS) Just Play Elite16U Gold [2025]
I’m watching the transformation right before my eyes as her upside is scary because she’s over “the magic number” which is 6’0 and with her college-ready frame as well as skill-set, who knows where she will land but I know this, she has one of the best drop-steps I’ve seen this CLUB season
Christen Campbell (Klein Collins) Just Play Elite 15U Gold [2025]
Baby sister left a lasting first impression, in fact, I thought I was seeing double yet she too is long and athletic like Aubrey, with good timing to block, alter and or deflect shots, she also rebounds on both ends, scores both on putbacks and around the basket plus she runs the floor
