2026 Watchlist has 2 from DFW EYBL squad

The only thing I love more than seeing young talented players is watching their progression on the court so I had a chance to catch a couple of 2026 players in the past few months that are now playing with DFW Elite’s 16U EYBL squad and both will be featured when I drop the 2026 Watchlist for Prep Girls Hoops Texas and here’s the buzz after both were on the NIKE PLATFORM recently at Boo Williams but they could already play, I said that before and remember, not where you play but what you do on the court, wherever you play, absorb that

Salena Carasco– her poise under pressure is second to none. She wants the ball in the clutch and with her ability to drop the mid to long-range with ease and it seems she has eased her way into showing she can not only do it against talented players in Texas but some heading into their junior seasons on a national level, that’s big yet so is her upside. She sees the floor, makes the right passes at the right time, and plays solid defense

Jamari Milton– left me speechless when I wrote about her a few years ago because here’s the key, at least for me. I watch young players’ reactions to situations as well as how they do things INSTINCTIVELY so that in itself told me what was coming. She attacks the rim explosively, the first step is nothing nice, yet her body control and ability to finish after contact plus she can drop the jumper, mid to long-range, quickly and accurately
