2021 Battlin Billies recap, sort of

Sometimes I get nostalgic yet every year I almost tear up because another talented class will graduate with talented players I’ve been watching for what seems like forever and in the case of Carleigh Wenzel, the above picture is from 2016 yet I had seen her numerous times before and the thing that always stood out was her picture-perfect jumper

Well the Antonian star dropped her 2000th point in front of me, you can click on the link and she’s headed to Virginia Tech yet she wasn’t the only player that had me feeling some type of way as I watched Madison McKinnon and Ella Hartman (Fredericksburg) show signs of being stars while in the 5th and 6th grades respectively on their Fredericksburg Pride club team yet the talent I saw on the school team, 5 different players dropping the 3 will have me busy as they join Antonian, Liberty Hill, and Iowa Park as some of the top teams, well even though Lovelady almost got me divorced, it eventually happened, let me add them as well and they have a freshman who looked TOTALLY different than how she played on her club team so that, as well as much more, will be on PGH Texas
