Big Three Leaves Memories

Elsik’s Big Three of Jasmine Ocanas, Crystal Porter and Akunna Elonu may not have gone out the way they wanted to but they went out with class. So many times people look at this or that instead of thing they should be looking at and I gained so much more respect for these young ladies after they won the region last season and came back this season to almost pull it off again. You don’t have the braggadocios or smack talking nonsense I hear from many kids who aren’t really basketball players just out there playing basketball and it’s refreshing to know that you still have players that will buy into their coaches system and not only buy into to it but make it work to their advantage. Four straight district titles, never losing a district game and pulling off the impossible and in the process knocking off teams seeded higher than they were is something special
