2021Girls Texas Jamboree
Fort Bend Christian and Houston Dream head coach Trey Phillips continues to keep the JAMBOREE rolling and giving me what I need as far as teams I may not see much of or again as well as the HIDDEN GEMS that some of these clubs trying and hide yet in the spirit of the holidays or is it the spirits I had on my way home, always remember that talent is everywhere, that’s I hashtagged it, and even more importantly, it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against
This was somewhat bittersweet for me, Lutheran North almost pulled off a shocker, well technically they still did as they competed with a heavily talented Houston Christian squad yet that game took me back to yesteryear when I called Dalanna Carter a #D1Lock in the 3rd grade and saw her Lutheran North teammate Jade Miller (Dillard) drop 6 NBA three-pointers in the 6th grade and her mom came and asked “why are you taking pictures of my daughter” and we still laugh about that as well her then club coach who wouldn’t give me her name and acting, like she didn’t know who hit the threes, WTF!
On the flip, Logan Johnson, D’Asia Thomas, and Jalaylah Ingram hadn’t played their first middle school game when I crowned them #D1Locks way before that idiot at Blue Star said I copied him yet in this era, many people believe whatever is on the internet yet always remember I copy nobody as the lyrics from Time Today blast in my head “we can get gangsta, we can keep it cordial” but then again, for the most part, I like everybody, well until you cross that line of no return but I will have a recap from each session on the Top Performers and I’ll probably drop some added stuff along the way, all on PGH Texas but here are the scores and top scorers from each session
