2021 I-35 Showcase (San Antonio) 2025 Tip Sheet

MIA RAMOS

Bella Aguero-5’4 G heady ballplayer handled the ball under pressure and saw the floor well but her ability to attack the rim, as well as attack and dish, was nice, so was her pull-up jumper

Yasmín  Alicea-5’7 G created her shot nicely under pressure and showed she could hit the jumper consistently. Doesn’t force anything, understands how to get hers “in the flow” and she played solid defense

Madison Borjas-5’0 G the highlights embedded in my mind from watching her over the years allow me not to take notes, just watch her progression and watching her show over and over her ability to score, multiple ways including long-range is nice but she also did a good job running the team

Abby  Burdette-5’8 attacking the rim off the dribble is always nice yet she “extends” in the air, that ain’t easy, to finish but she also handles the ball nicely and sees the floor. The pull-up jumper was solid, so was her rebounding on both ends of the court

Alyssa Cantu-5’3 G understands how and when to take the defender and when your jumper is smooth like hers, that makes it easy yet she also showed she could defend as well as play the passing lane which led to baskets going the other way because she sees the floor

Chloe Donnell-5’6 G watching her create her shot over and over, at times it looks effortlessly under pressure yet her mechanics are very nice, so is her jumper yet she manages to set the defender up numerous ways to attack the rim and finish

Gabryela  Galvan-5’4 G plays the passing lane as well as anyone in the state I’ve seen, all classes so that is a huge plus, so is her attacking and finishing with either hand as well as her pull-up jumper. Her defense is smothering and she rebounds

KRISTIAN HIESKILL

Kassandra Garcia-5’3 G– showed she could drop it from deep early during the 1 on 1 yet she did a good job of mixing it up in the 5 on 5 by creating her shot to drop both the mid to long-range, she also saw the floor and made nice passes for assists, under pressure

Kristian Hieskill-5’8 G created her shot with ease and showed she could explode to the basket and finish, after contact yet that same creating of her shot enabled her to drop the mid to long-range jumper. She also defends and rebounds

Alyana McGarity-5’8 G long and athletic is the base right, yes it is so what else can she do, well she attacks with either hand and finishes with either hand but the pull-up jumper combined with her athleticism is nice, so is her upside

Giana Monda-5’4 G plays much bigger than her size because, well let me start with she BATTLES for everything off the rim, she’s strong, understands how to use her body on both ends, and plays good defense. She attacks the rim hard and finishes after contact

Mia Ramos-5’7 G love seeing “The Hez” as she used it numerous times to confuse the defender in the open court but that in itself will speak volumes because she gets to her spots and drops the mid t long-range consistently. She attacks strongly off the dribble and plays the passing lane

Karina Vasquez-5’4 G pushes the ball hard in transition yet is under control and can see the floor and make passes going full speed. She also creates her shot and showed both the pull-up jumper as well as taking the defender off the dribble to finish

A’Nya Williams-5’4 G uses her athleticism well on both ends, applying pressure, on the ball, defensively, while attacking the rim strongly on the flip yet she can shoot, mid to long-range was shown, even with a hand in her face
