’21 Prime Time 11/12 Grade DivisionTip Sheet #NBC21

Since Flight 9 and Fort Worth Lady Hornets played for the Championship, I gave them their own special Tip Sheet yet talent was abundant in the division, and here are some of the other standouts I saw. Special S/O to Dynasty for making a run with only 7 players

AmUnique Cavitt (Dynasty 17U) accelerate off the dribble, took defenders whenever she wanted, and dropped the mid to long-range yet she also ran the 1 and saws the floor, defense was solid as well

Brookelyn Williams (Dynasty 17U she attacks the rim relentlessly and finishes with power after contact included yet she battles for rebounds on both ends and had countless putbacks, also finishing after the lick

Noel Brown (Dynasty 17U) you just can’t teach desire, she went after everything off the rim on both ends, did a good job not only defending but finishing as well plus she played the passing lane

Mya Hurd (DaVinci Ballhawks) long and athletic is the base and a plus especially when I drop UPS in the eval so her timing to block, alter and deflect as well as her rebounding and finishing was nice

Jilian Fox (SYA Gifted) dropped the 3, attacked off the dribble, and finished strongly but strongly is a key-word because that’s also how she rebounded, on both ends

Natalie Tobin (Texas Heat Orange) she is around 6’3, she has good timing and made players alter their shots, well she blocked some as well but she rebounds and finishes, nice upside to go with 75 inches

Emma Potts (Cy Fair Elite KTX) nice mix of tools as she showed she could hit the pull-up jumper from mid-range, rebound on both ends, and score on putbacks, including after contact

WASTE LITTLE SPO HORSE

Waste Little Spo Horse (West Texas Blazers) playing the passing lane always grabs my attention, she does it well but she also sees the floor, rebounds, scores off the dribble and hits the midrange

Abigail Ramos (Texas U 17U Samuels) long, athletic, and finished either off the dribble or off of putbacks but she also did a good job rebounding, on both ends of the court, and defending

Mikaela Hall (Oklahoma Lightning) strong finisher, a strong rebound, and she’s strong. She’s heading to a JUCO to work on some things, this impressed me hearing her say that because trust me, she’s going to be a steal

Tajunea Mardenborough (Oklahoma Lightning) heady PG that runs the offense very well, understands how and who to get the ball too yet she can score from outside as well as off the dribble

Naomi Smith (Oklahoma Lightning) the more I watched, the more I saw and her elevating over defenders over and over just took me aways and I also added #BEAST because she was relentless going after the ball, plus she placed very good defense “on ball”

Ava Brezovsky (Texas Achievers Lady Sparks) good size and body, finishes strongly after contact yet she also can score facing the basket. She rebounded on both ends and ran the floor

Natalie Mounce (League City Sharks) creates her shot well under pressure and doesn’t force it so the mid to long-range game looked good, so did her taking defenders off the dribble

CHARRAVIA SMITH

Charravia Smith (Terrell Lightning) they say lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place, yet she did, over and over and let me start with she’s “long and athletic” got to the basket and elevated over defenders or just did the same with the jumper and she played the passing lane

Desiree Penny-Marshall (Oklahoma Chaos) one on one, you can almost forget about it because she’s so quick, her release is quick and she has good range but she also sees the floor very well, she handles the ball the same way, very well

Miranda Cagle (Oklahoma Chaos) she can flat out shoot, mid to long-range is solid but she also can “catch and shoot” consistently, and just for fun, she takes defenders off the dribble
