Manvel Ready To/For March

To say Manvel had a great season last year is an understatement. Jade Castille lead them to their first Region 3-4A Final 4 and this season the bar has been set much higher as they welcome two nationally ranked players to the team. Jordan Hosey is ranked on just about every Top 20 list and her presence alone may have been the key to that coveted Final 4 spot.

They also picked up the #1 player in the country from the 2014 class, Brianna Turner. She helped lead Westbury Christian to the TAPPS State Championship last season while also helping her club team, DFW Elite, win not only win Basketball On The Bayou, but the highly regarded Nike Nationals Championship as well. Both young ladies are long and lean and with their  6’2 frames, they possess guard skills. This team will be very dangerous for the next three seasons, so not only is Manvel labeled as the “Best of the Rest”, they may eventually wind up as being the best in the area.
