2017 Queen of the Court Tip Sheet day 2
CAMMIE MCKINNEY
DESOTO, Texas- A very enjoyable DC Queens Queen of the Court went smoothly and truly had solid teams and talent. I tried my best to see as many players as possible and I’m truly sorry I took notes on some only to find either rosters had missing numbers or there wasn’t a roster at all. Directors and coaches, you are doing a disservice to your players by not providing information in a timely manner and parents you need to be aware that this stuff I real and if your daughter has talent and aspiration to play at the next level, I well it’s not a lock for everyone and if someone tells you otherwise they are either naïve or just not being honest and you can see the odds on playing at the next level under the CONSULTING tab by clicking NCAA. Okay here are nine from day 2, I had six others but I’ll catch you later, well hopefully
2020
Rylie Riddie-guard (HG Shy Elite) creates shot in traffic, nails midrange nicely, handles ball well and also sees floor, good upside
JASMYN LOTT
2022
Kyla Deck-guard (Nike Pro Skills 2022) first time I saw she shot the ball extremely well from outside however this time around she showed even more. Attacks and finishes strong with contact, good rebounder and can defend
Kailee Deffebaugh-guard (GBDI) ultra-athletic that gets to the basket and finishes strong, handles the ball well, defends and has good range
Brennan Welch –guard (Waco Lady Panthers) attacks basket from wing well, nice pull up, hits mid to long range with ease
Destiny Barrientes-guard (Nike TX Select Blue) makes things happen on both ends, definitely a sparkplug that can score and defend
Jasmyn Lott-guard (Nike Pro Skills 2022) nowhere near where she’ll be but she’s pretty impressive right now. Athletic, gets to the basket, finishes strong, and battles for rebounds and can defend on perimeter. First step gets her in the mix, adding range will be deadly
Cammie McKinney-guard (GBDI) she’s a highlight waiting to happen, absolute gamer that strives under pressure and won’t crack. Can score from anywhere, good handle and defends well but that poise under pressure will make her a hot commodity
2023
Shadiamond Wilson-forward (Nike Cy Fair Shooters Elite 2023) battles after everything in the paint, won’t be outworked, strong finisher, good upside
Monica Marsh-guard (Higher Goals) takes defenders off dribble, creates for herself and teammates, nice midrange game, handles ball under pressure, wants to take shot in crunch time
Jordan Devaughn-PG (Nike Pro Skills 2023) didn’t realize who she was after just catching her at Iron Sharpens Iron Camp but her ability to run a team at this age is definitely ahead of the game. Handles pressure, sees floor and can score, good upside
