GLENN HEIGHTS, Texas- I love attending events run by PassThaBall because I know there will be an abundance of talent, I know I’ll have the information I need to do what I do and I also know she’ll have some of the best available trainers wherever the event will be held and more importantly than all of that, parents and players can leave with the satisfaction of knowing they got their monies worth and being the parent of daughters who played, it was vital that all of these things were in place otherwise there were going to be some issues. The biggest issue I had was deciding my Top 14 for the main Tip Sheet, please be patient I’ll drop something on the other players later but since I already placed Breanna Davis, Amina Muhammoud and Tyanna Herron, who impressed me even more at this event, last week from March Fest, I decided to go another route and I said, I’ll have more coming a little later, so let’s do this

2021

Kendall McGruder (Greg Buckner) attacks at will, finishes strong, creates her shot off the dribble which enables her to get her shot off at ease. Good ball handler that knocks the mid and long range shot down consistently

Kelbie Washington –not only can she play defense, she enjoys it and when you’re as athletic as she is, things will happen. Knows how to get to the basket, showed a nice crossover and huge upside

Masa Al Niubani ( Pro Skills) when you know how to create your shot in traffic, that’s definitely a good sign but the variety of angles she made shots from ties in nicely. Good range

Kayla Glover (DC Queens) I didn’t realize I first saw this young lady in 2012 and I think II said something like she had the right last name because her D was like a glove r, anyway she gets to the rim whenever she wants, added a mean cross over but that stop and pop was off the chain, love that pull-up

Nykale Kramer-another player that consistently follows her shot, great size, a shade under 6’0 and with her athleticism and desire, she’s definitely going to be creating problems soon in HS. To top it off, she can face the basket a score from 10-15 feet

Kendall Brown-great hands and footwork, showed aggressiveness in the paint along with some fancy moves. Rebounded on both ends and showed she could shoot from the outside

Zaria Ruffus-I have so many symbols by her name that I had to play it back in my head. Loves to defend, high energy on both ends, can go coast to coast with defenders hanging on her and still finish, her athleticism is ahead of her years

Orlanna Gooden– can’t teach speed, especially with the ball and with her ability to maneuver throughout defenses; she’s definitely going to be in the mix. Nice crossover with options, either behind the back or between the legs, creates and finishes strong, and one waiting to happen

2022

Laila McCleod (DFW Elite) I don’t know if she realizes how good she is now but when it clicks, she’s going to be hard to handle. Long and athletic, excellent timing and can score from the wing quite well. Good defender that can also score from outside

Madison Cockrell (Pro Skills) young lady simply gave me flashbacks of the old days, love the stutter step while attacking, follows her shot *, pushes the ball very well under control and can drop the mid and long range with ease

Ayanna Thompson-created several problems for defenders, strong and athletic, she showed she could attack from the perimeter and if you slacked off of her, she dropped the midrange jumper

Carrigan Hill-attacks well, knows how to set defenders up, nice first step, showed the crossover in traffic, good athleticism and energy and is one of those players that can change momentum quickly

Kamren Rhodes-talented young lady from Arizona gave me an eyeful, first she attacks the basket strong with either hand and finishes the same, strong body, great athleticism, anticipates the pass, scores multiple ways, great upside

2023

Journee Harris (NTX Tarheels)  #sizedontmatter guard that simply battles for everything. She’s athletic, handles the ball, under pressure and can knock the long ball down
