2016 Houston Lady Dominators

KAYLAN HARDEMAN & JADA RUSS

HOUSTON, Texas- Like all good things, it transitions into something better and after catching the Lady Dominators three years ago, I’ve definitely enjoyed watching their team play and I keep saying I don’t measure anything against wins and losses, and they’ve won their fair share and more of games however what they keep doing is having players move on to the next level. Kiana Hall is one of their stars, I mean she can act, sing and dance and then drop 30 without blinking an eye and I mean after doing the artsie thing but her role of making her teammates better impresses me equally as the other stuff, maybe even more since I can’t sing or dance but I can act, well a fool when I need to. Hall and Tashawna Riggs are simply exciting in the open floor, they feed off of each other and the numbers both can put up quickly is mind boggling. Riggs simply does some very acrobatic things in the open floor and if you blink, you might miss something

 KIA & KAYLA COBBS

Kia and Kayla Cobbs have definitely elevated their games. Kia has been a back to the basket player since I first saw her but now she’s facing the basket to score and I mean mid to long range but she can still get it done inside. Kayla’s game has become smoother every time I watch he play and she can score in the flow and after the game the stat sheet is filled up. Kaylan Hardeman and Armani Lenore are also some athletic/acrobatic guards that provided me several highlights this season. Hardeman has a deadly stroke around the court while Lenore’s first step is definitely hard to handle and one of the best things about both is they bring heat on defense. Leah Smither has definitely been a bright spot as she can play multiple positions, score and rebound while Deja Montgomery rebounds on both ends, can finish and has expanded her outside shooting knocking down the midrange. Jada Russ is simply blossoming into something special, size, athleticism and ability plus she keeps getting better and made the Tip Sheet
