2020 Gold Champs Oklahoma Swarm Elite
OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma-I caught Oklahoma Swarm 2020 at last season’s Prime Time Nationals and numerous players stood out including 6’3 forward Katelyn Levings who’s already on the map as far as college coaches are concerned. Levings can simply do a variety of things because she creates matchup problems out of this world and is also a triple double waiting to happen. With that being said, she does have help on this squad which is filled with young ladies who truly understand the game and can play. The smallest players in the starting line-up are 5’8 which makes this one of the tallest starting line-ups I’ve seen in this age group. Ariana Morgan is 5’10, she’s active and athletic and goes after everything on the boards. 5’9 Amia Maxwell is solid, high basketball IQ and plays both ends the same way.
The rest of the backcourt is 5’8, Ryle Langerman shoots the three or if you play her too close she can score off the dribble. Lexie Davis like Langerman is also a threat from long range or attacking the basket but she adds a little razzle dazzle in with her ball-handling and one spin she did was definitely on point. 5’10 Myka Parrish showed plenty of breakout signs with different things she did on the floor especially in the open court but she not only finishes well, she does with contact which is a big plus at her age. Alice Stevenson showed me a lot of tools that she had stored at PTN and she’s putting them to work and at 6’0 her upside is huge and she’s on the verge of exploding. Katie King at 5’4 is another #sizedontmatter player, she knows the game, can handle the ball under pressure and distribute but don’t get it twisted, KK can score and she shifted momentum with huge plays throughout the event
