Texas United prepares for heat at March Fest

DUNCANVILLE, Texas- Texas United had a welcoming committee on what to expect throughout the season and the young group of stars showed they are prepared for the battle. After all, they have the top sophomore in the country, 6’4 Lauren Cox, who can do basically just about everything on both ends including shoot the three and she along with Jordan Moore simply create problems in the paint. She didn’t take any long ones however they have players that can simply fill it up. Brooke Alexander, Downtown Maddie Brown and Kianna Ray can score inside and out, Alexander, along with Moore, are the lone 2015 player on this team while the others are from the 2016 class. This is a very talented squad, Mykiel Burleson can pull off some acrobatic stuff on the court while Grayson Bright and Maya Sampleton fill in several of the blanks you may miss on the score sheet.  You have to have solid guard play and if there was any question in my mind, I definitely saw Anna Pierce and Mikayla Christian hold their own against some of the top heat the country.
