’24 All Eyez On Me 2025 Standouts

Closing it out with some players who are about to close out their high school careers with a bang

Emy Chen-5’8 G (McCallum) is a “long and athletic” guard who did a good job applying “on the ball” pressure but watching her attack the basket using a slight HEZ to score off the dribble, nice body control after contact was a plus yet so was her finishing with either hand. She’s heady and under control, dropped the pull-up jumper and even follows her shot which is #THROWBACK. I also enjoyed her “catch and shoot”

K’lyn McFrazier-5’6 CG (Pflugerville) is an athletic guard who used her athleticism on both ends, which I already knew, but she came out on fire applying “on the ball” heat during the 1-on-1 drill and that translated over to the 5-on – games as she falls into that “never takes a play off” group. She also uses the slight HEZ to attack the basket however she also has a powerful first step and finishes after contact. Her pull-up jumper was solid, so was her court vision

Natalie Maldonado-5’5 G (Lake Belton) was yet another guard who came out applying pressure defensively yet seeing her go hard baseline to baseline defending was a plus as she understands how to make the offensive player pick up their dribble as well as force them into traps. Her playing the passing lane was a bonus for me and she scored off the dribble as well as from the outside

Karina Vasquez-5’5 PG (Harlan) is heady and plays within herself and her decision-making coupled with solid court vision was nice. She saw the floor in the set as well as in transition, she used a deceptive first step to attack the basket and score, using either hand on her finishes. She also created her shot under pressure as well as separation to drop the jumper

Makaila Hay-5’5 CG (Liberty Hill) is also heady, plays within herself, and did a good job staying under control while being pressured. On the flip, she applied pressure defensively, both in the halfcourt as well as fullcourt. She attacked the basket with either hand and also scored with either, body control played a part in that but she did a good job creating her shot and dropping it from outside while her court vision was also solid

Kierra Graves-5’6 G (Cy Ridge) was another athletic guard who brought the heat on both ends. She used her quick hands to come away with steals yet the fullcourt pressure didn’t let up throughout the event. She attacked the basket strongly, with nice body control on her finishes, after contact included but watching her not only create her shot but ELEVATE and drop the jumper had me smiling

Isabella DaAlessandro-5’6 PG (Westwood) grabbed my attention immediately with her defense as she enjoyed applying “on the ball” pressure both in the halfcourt as well as the full court. Her HEZ was nice, and so was her deceptive first step to get to the basket and finish. She did a good job creating her shot while being defended and dropping it plus her crossover was solid

Jasmine Lee-5’7 SG (Cy Woods) was another “long and athletic” guard who scored off the dribble using a deceptive first step but her powerful finishes after contact were nice. She finished with either hand and showed solid body control but she also did a good job creating her shot and dropping the jumper in the set. Her stop-and-pop jumper from BTA was also nice

Tiffany Singleton-5’11 SF (Weiss) is “long and athletic” and always remember that is the BASE. She’s also just shy of “the magic number” which is 6’0 but the magic showed quickly as she used her timing to not only block, alter, and (or) deflect shots but handle the ball afterward while being defended. She rebounded on both ends, scored around the basket, turnaround jumper was nice but she also dropped the midrange

Macie Upshaw-6’2 PF (Round Rock) is also “long and athletic” as well as above “the magic number” and just jumped into the PGH Top 100 with a bang. Yes her timing to block shots stands out, and so does her “hands and footwork” to score around the basket but she also showed the turnaround jumper which you ain’t gonna block. She elevates on her jumper, she also rebounded on both ends, and defended in and outside the paint

Laura Sierra-6’0 PF (St Anthony) had me smiling as I knew she did a good job defending inside the paint but her doing outside the paint was very nice. Her hands and footwork got her easy baskets inside, she scored on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends plus she set the defender up to score off the dribble, and even gave me a reverse layup. Her timing to block shots was nice and she faced the basket and scored

Allie Uzzell-5’11 P (Flatonia) used her college-ready frame inside the paint on both ends, which is a huge plus because she’s a shade under “the magic number”. Her skillset across the board is solid, she showed not only rebounding on both ends but running the floor on both. She scored around the basket as well as off the dribble yet her midrange looked good with the pull-up jumper. She also did a good job defensively, on the ball included
