’21 Queens Of The Hardwood-2024 Tip Sheet
Ja’Niah Lenior-5’6 (Players 1st Basketball 16U National) uses her athleticism nicely, she takes defenders off the dribble with an explosive first step and finishes after contact and but also can create her shot under pressure and knock the mid to long-range jumper down
Kamryn Griffin-59 SF (Players 1st Basketball 16U National) strong body that attacks basket strongly and finishes after the lick so when you add her pull-up jumper and rebounding plus her upside…
Allison Howe-5’10 PF (Players 1st Basketball Hybrid) her timing is very impressive especially when you factor in her height and “long and athletic” as she rebounds, finishes, and has very good upside
Elaine Burns-5’7 G (DC Queens Centex) impressed me last season playing up, nothing has changed other than she’s stronger and finishes after the lick even better but you can’t teach poise and her ability to hit big shots, this includes under pressure tells me what’s coming
Emiry Espinoza-SG (DC Queens SA) every time I see her, she shows me she can shoot the 3 but she showed me she can also create her shot while being defended and score off the dribble as well as drop the midrange
Noel Ajel (DC Queens SA) creates her shot under pressure, handles the ball well and showed she could not only attack and finish but knock down the jumper as well as see the floor
Alexa Romero-5’7 G (SA Infinity Basketball Green) handles the ball and sees the floor, both under pressure and she also showed she could attack the basket and finish after contact
Kendall Beck-6’2 C (Pro Skills SATX 15U) long and athletic plus the wingspan are all great starters and she showed she was a finisher after contact as well as rebounded on both ends and made players change their shots as timing has gotten better and her upside has me smiling
Mahogany Pierce-5’10 PF (Pro Skills SATX 15U) when I write UPS, it ain’t about packages being delivered yet she delivers on the inside either rebounding or finishing and her power is special
Jocelyn Cole-5’5 G (STX Skillz U) handles the ball smoothly under pressure, showed she could set defenders up multiple ways to attack or drop the jumper which includes mid to long-range
Logan Borchardt-5’7 G (STX Skillz U) had one of the best COP at the event, that’s “change of pace” and when you can use that in the open court, well in the half-court as well, you have a big advantage especially when you can knock down shots as she does
Tiara Louis (Lady Arnold Elite) long, athletic with an explosive first step she gets to the basket almost effortlessly and her body control enables her to finish while taking the lick. It also helps she has a nice pull-up and plays the passing lane
