2022 All Eyez On Me Tip Sheet-2024 plus

I call this the 2024 plus because Mariyah Alfred (2027) participated in this event and I don’t have the classes for a few others so here ya go

2024

Adah Sneed-5’11 F (Cornerstone Christian) handles the ball well under pressure, and also creates her shot nicely but watching her attack and finish as well as attack and dish in traffic was huge, so was her playing the passing lane as well as defending strongly. The bank shot was a nice touch as well

Emilee Totino-5’7 G (Deweyville) smooth pull-up jumper and she does things instinctively, that JUST DOES IT for me but her stop and pop jumper in transition created some problems, she also created her shot to attack off the dribble, and she played the passing lane numerous times

Kyra Owens-6’0 F/C (Beaumont Westbrook) is strong around the basket to either rebound or finish, she does that after contact but let me drop #THROWBACK for the drop step. She understands how to use her body, scored facing the basket, and did a good job on defense

Kaydence Menchacha-5’7 G (AC Jones) didn’t realize it was her and she filled up my notes, well the basket too as she scored multiple ways, pull-up, off the screen even catch and jumpers were part of it, so was her using body control on her finishes but she also has some very good court vision and played the passing lane

Sydney Rodriguez-5’3 G(Bracketville) understands the game and lets it come to her, which falls into the “playing within yourself” category so she finds ways to be an effective, solid defender. I also enjoyed her scoring both off the dribble, with either hand, and dropping the jumper, with a hand in her face

Miranda Perales– is a solid on-the-ball defender, and reacts well to switches as well as recognizes the trap but she also did a good job at both handling the ball and seeing the floor. Created her shot to score both off the dribble or from the outside

2026

Shaniyah Fox– long and athletic, enjoyed her timing to block shots as well as rebound yet her UPS also factored into those things happening. She scored both off the dribble, yeah finished after contact, and also dropped it from deep, court vision was also nice

2027

MaRiyah Alfred-5’6 CG (Silsbee MS) since I’ve already called her a #D1Lock, that should be enough yet she won’t stop showing me new things and with her using that explosive first step against HS players who will play at the next level speaks volumes. The jumper is getting deeper, she has the very good court vision and defends, yeah she also plays the passing lane

Kyzarriah Fox– long and athletic will always be the base, loved the spin in traffic to finish but her first step creates a lot of problems for defenders because it enables her to get to the basket, under control and it also enables her to drop the jumper because the defender gives her that extra space
