2021 TJ Showcase-Barbara Jordan Division Tip Sheet

I have always been innovative in how I approach doing things regarding maximizing exposure for players, many of who have been mentioned for the first time by me, some the only time yet my primary purpose was “I saw it coming, that’s why I went solo” and I’m breaking down some of the top players I caught in each division, providing a roster was turned in

NOELLE RAGGIO (shooting)

2022

Ciara Williams-6’1 C (Houston Queens 16U) uses her body well, especially in the paint as she understands how to seal the defender and score after contact. Nice hands and footwork

Logan Borchardt (STX Skillz U) heady player that understands how to do something very important, get hers in the flow, yet she also does a good job creating her shot under pressure to attack or take the jumper

2023

Leslie Forun-5’9 SG (Fury Phoenix 2023/2024) George Ranch HS-long and athletic is the BASE and she used it efficiently to play the passing lane and rebound but she also showed

Danielle Porter-6’1 PF (Houston Queens 16U) Dickinson HS- Tip Sheet waiting to happen is the best way to sum it up, let me use #BEAST as she goes after everything off the rim, strong rebounder and finisher, well be added to PGH Top 100

Kyla Clark-5’9 PG (Lady Thunder Ayers)-long and athletic, impressive upside because of her instincts as well as her ability because she can play multiple positions, handles the ball, sees the floor, scores off the dribble but “playing that passing lane” just does it for me

Keria Poole (Waco United) understands how to create her shot and attacks strongly, yet under control and finishes after contact but she also showed she could knock down the outside shot

Janavia Gage-6’3 P (Lady Thunder Ayers)-steadily showing she can dominate on either end, college-ready from, coupled with her height is one thing yet her strength and powerful finishes and rebounds are definite pluses

IYANNA BILLUPS

2023

McKenzie Covey (Waco United)

2024

Janiya Alvarex (Austin Elite Fire) Cedar Ridge HS-long and athletic, attacked basket strongly, finished after contact, also rebounded on both ends of the court, did a good job finishing on putbacks

Noelle Raggio (Austin Elite Fire) Cedar Ridge HS-created her shot under tight pressure, showed she could drop the mid to long-range, with a hand in her face, also took defenders off the dribble

Iyanna Billups-5’1 PG (CE Elite 2024 Black)– SWB, the speed with ball is always good, especially when you’re under control and she continues to show good court vision as well as dropping the long ball but her defense is smothering

Ella Granda-5’7 G (CE Elite Black 2024) Liberty HS-showed me a lot of new things she brings to the table, did a good job creating her shot and taking defenders off the dribble yet she also could knock it down from outside

Khloe Vaughn-5’8 PG (Houston United 2023 Black) Klein Oak HS-heady guard that understands how to control the tempo, handles the ball and sees the floor well and she also can score, plus she plays good defense

Danielle Ruffin-5’5 G (Houston United 2023 Black) Cy Creek HS-explosive off the dribble, creates her shot well under pressure, and uses her athleticism to get her shot off with the jumper or attacking and finishing

Ciara Miles-5’10 CG (Lady Drive Nation Killeen 16 U) Rockdale HS– got a heads up from a former Rockdale star about her and to say I was pleased would be an understatement because she UPS, can handle the ball, especially in the open court where after rebounding she went C2C for numerous baskets so rebounding, defending and playing the passing lane were just extras

2025

Nyah Waters-5’9 F (CE Elite 2024 Black)-huge upside which is scary since she’s a #D1Lock before high school but she’s long and athletic, can score multiple ways including the long jumper, mid is extremely nice as well as her acrobatic finishes

Kayla King-5’8 G (SA Lady Hoops Carolina Blue) upside is off the chart, she’s poised and under control playing up, yet she loves the pressure and delivers either mid to long-range, off the dribble, or just making a big play in crunch time

Gabryela Galvan-5’4 G (SA Lady Hoops Carolina Blue)-goes hard on both ends, attacks so viciously at this stage, yet under control and let me say this, her finishes along that pull-up are going make her a “nightmare to defend”

Nmesomo Okola-6’1 F (Phoenix 2025 Black) Glenn HS-well she’s definitely being added to PGH Texas 2025 Watchlist, long and athletic, scores from the wing with ease, as well in the paint yet she’s also hitting the short jumper, rebounding, defending, and playing the passing lane, playing up

Arianna Jennings-5’8 G (Phoenix 2025 Black) Killeen HS-log and athletic was one of the things she showed me a few months ago yet she’s added to her already impressive game with good ball-handling under pressure, court vision and extended range, good upside

Honorable Mention

Amari Chambers-6’0 PF (Houston United 2023 Black) Cy Creek HS 2023

Jennifer Eisen (Austin Elite Fire) Cedar Ridge HS (2024)

A’Mya Edwards (Austin Elite Fire) Cedar Ridge HS (2024)

Stella Laubenstein-5’6 G (CE Elite 2024 Black) Round Rock HS 2024

Jazmine Gaston-5’8 F-5’8 F (CE Elite 2024 Black) Anderson HS 2024

Mahalia Twine-5’7 PG (Lady Thunder Ayers) Huntsville HS 2024

Zara’Nique Neely-5’3 G (SA Lady Hoops Carolina Blue) 2025

Kianna Wormly-5’8 G (Phoenix 2025 Black) Vista Ridge HS 2025
