2019 Prime Time Dallas Tip Off Classic Tip Sheet
ELLERY SAMPLE (TEAM LIBERTY)
FRISCO-TEXAS- The Dallas Tip Off Classic hosted by Prime Time was refreshing to say the least as I saw even more talented players that I hadn’t seen before as well as several who have added even more to their impressive games over the years. I stress over and over, the key is progression and I definitely love to see that so I’m dropping some of the standouts right here and if you follow me on social media, you’ll get a chance to see others
Maryaune Adeyeye (Lady Razorbacks Elite) nice pull-up in traffic, scores multiple ways, attacks strong and finishes with contact, defends baseline to baseline
Ellery Sample (Team Liberty) long and athletic, shows many signs of being able to take over a game on both ends. Has a knack for being around the ball
Kaitlyn Evans (DC Queens) playing up has definitely helped her over the years because she can compete with older players and her maturity level shows. Battles for everything, already gets “IT”
Caitlyn Panuco (Lady Wolfpack) scores in droves, don’t blink because you might miss something but her ability to put then ball in the basket was second to none at the event
Crislyn Rose (Lady Drive Nation) off the dribble, behind the arc or somewhere in between you need to guard her. Athletic, explosive first step and defends
CRISLYN ROSE (LADY DRIVE NATION)
Donavia Hall (Dragonfly) strong body, vocal on the court, can change complexion of the game instantly. Scores effortlessly at times and in the flow of the game
Taylor Barnes (Lady Gators Elite) huge upside, length, height and age are pluses at this stage and she is already showing signs of being hard to handle
Sydney Jones (DC Queens) I spoke about progression in the opening paragraph and after three years of watching Jones she keeps showing it. Scores, heady and makes plays on both ends
Nic Porter (Prodigy) powerful body, athletic and just finds ways to put the ball in the basket. Strong rebounder and defends well
Devon Sherrard (LGE) midrange game was on point, nice and deceptive first step enable her to create shot in traffic , handles ball well under pressure
Tabitha Johnson (Lady Wolfpack) 6’3 and in the 8th grade sort of speaks volumes yet I’m going back to that first paragraph about progression. Johnson is more fluid, mobile and is mixing it up inside and outside
Navareh Zavala (DC Queens) good size and strong body, loves being physical yet also showed the finesse in the paint with her soft touch
Lily Brown (Seahawks) prototype PG that can take over also when needed. Long, mid, home on the range, she can do that as well as thread the needle
