2017 Prime Time Lone Star Jam Tip Sheet

'17 PT LSJ Brianna Kelley

Brianna Kelley (Team Rise)

DENTON, Texas-Super weekend ended with me leaving Arlington for one event and closing with Prime Time’s Lone Star Jam which featured a variety of talent that will be playing at various levels in college by the time graduation rolls around. I love finding hidden gem which is why I cover action at a variety of gyms and listen to me closely, #TalentIsEverywhere especially if you know what you’re looking at. Here are some of the stars from day one

2018

Zacarria Draughan (D NICE) solid PG, runs team and defends, scores when needed, good ball handler

Diedre Gordon (Frisco Hoops) strong rebounder on both ends, runs floor and finishes, good athleticism, defends well

Felicia Brown (NTX Heat) explodes for rebounds, doesn’t mind physicality, strong finisher and goes after everything

2019

Elizabeth Crinin (SWAG Elite) can score in paint with back to the basket or face the basket and hit midrange, nice fluid shot, athletic and gets it done on both ends

Kayra Thompson (Texas Warriors) handles ball under pressure, sees floor, can score when needed. Good defender

 '17 PT LSJ Hadlee Gibson

Hadlee Gibson (NTX Heat)

2021

Jada Armstrong (D NICE) long, athletic, gets to the rim and finishes strong, good defender, rebounds on both ends

Hadleee Gibson (NTX Heat) knows how to score multiple ways, creates shot well under pressure

Lexy Berryman (AGA) explosive first step gives her numerous offensive options, once she gets going, she’s hard to contain

Brianna Kelley (Team Rise) right team name because her status kept going up during event. She’s 6’3 and nowhere near the finished product but good hands, good footwork, can finish, runs the floor and rebounds has her ahead of many former BCS posts at her age

2023

Victoria Flores (DC Queens 2023 Orange) skies the limit should sum it up but this young lady has an abundance of tools that tells me huge things are in store. Has the ability to take over when needed, gets to the rim whenever she wants and can drop it from just about anywhere on the court

'17 PT LSJ Katelyn Evans

Katelyn Evans (DC Queens 2024 Black)

2024

Jaedynn French (Louisiana Flames) I haven’t stood up for many young players as they took off in the open court but this young lady makes things happen. Already gets it and her ability to score multiple ways is ahead of the game

Meme Mc Donald (Louisiana Flames) the game has and always will start at the one and this young lady shows #sizedontmatter Good ball handler under pressure, fearless defender and can score

Grace Sweeney (LRE) loved watching her handle the ball like a yoyo under pressure. Smart and smooth and her ability to get to the rim and score is ahead of the game

Crishawn Coleman (LRE) super athleticism, gets to the basket and finishes with contact, good mid to long range shooter, defends baseline to baseline

Katelyn Evans (DC Queens 2024 Black) very athletic, plays passing lane and scores from all over the court. Also will defend and rebound
