JADYN IGLEHART (DC QUEENS 2023 PLATINUM)
PLANO, Texas- As it gets closer to Prime Time Nationals, I’m becoming edgy and anxious as the time gets near and based on some of the squads that I’ve seen as well as those that are coming, my four days of coverage will be mind boggling, providing I have roster information which sometimes is a lost art as far as receiving it. Both Waco Elite and East Texas Shock brought three talented teams and the abundance of players on this Tip Sheet comes from those squads because they gave me what I needed so here we go
2018
Trashan Mosely-guard (East Texas Shock Elite) good body, showed she could score multiple ways as well as defend but seeing the floor definitely was plus along with her unselfishness as she knows how to set teammates up
2019
Haley Day-forward (East Texas Shock Blue) finishes strong, rebounds on both ends, good size and body and showed she could stretch the defense. II guess what I like even more is her upside because she keeps bringing it
2020
Reese Rhodes-guard (Waco Elite 2020) game starts at the one multiplied by she’s a coach’s daughter and when you take that sum and multiple the fact that she’s already 6’0…. Love her ability to run a team, sees floor exceptionally well, handles ball in traffic, with both hands and attacks and scores, with both hands. Nice pull-up and defends on ball
Madison Crowson-forward (Waco Elite 2020) she’s well over 6’0 and has a college frame now. She doesn’t shy away from the physicality on the inside, she gives and takes but she also scores well after the lick and can hit the mid. Good defender that also rebounds on both ends
MARIA HART (LADY ELITE)
2021
Eliana “Ellie” Lynch-forward (Waco Elite 2021) in word let me describe this talented 5’10 player, throwback. When I throw that out there, I do it for a reason because the game has changed over the past few years but she never stops moving, never takes a play off, good footwork, dives for loose balls, rebounds on both ends, defends and scores
Caitlyn Panuco-guard (Whitney Wolfpack) I get a kick out of watching Panuco play because she can change the momentum of the game by herself. She definitely has an abundance of skills, she drops the three, attacks off the dribble and is developing a step back as I step back to see what else is coming and I’m certain it will be something to see
Kelsey Boyette-guard (NTX Raptors) every time I see this young lady she shows me something different and as she enters high school, her ability to run the one is definitely going to blossom because she’s a sponge, she listens attentively and is vocal on the floor setting teammates up. She can score when needed as well as defend but she handles the ball under pressure which is huge
2022
Ava Burroughs-post (East Texas Shock White) nowhere near the finished product however peep this, she’s 6’2 and going to the 8th grade. She’s coordinated and understands the simple things and with time, well just remember her name
Aziyah Oliver-guard (Waco Elite 2022) when you’re explosive off the dribble at this age and under control, well good things are coming especially when you can handle the ball going coast to coast under pressure and with speed. She already plays the passing lane well and can score
2023
Jadyn Iglehart-guard (DC Queens 2023 Platinum) long and athletic, she goes after everything in the air or on the floor. Attacks from wing and finishes with contact, good timing on defense as she alters or blocks shots
2025
Maria Hart-guard (Lady Elite) okay I tweeted that she was a lock which means she’s going to play college ball, that’s a done deal if she chooses and folks I know what a college player looks like in the 5th grade. Her basketball IQ sold me because when you understand certain things and can do what she is doing now, wait, let me throw in her poise so remember who told you first
