2014 The Blueprint Tip Sheet

2014 Blueprint Turner

MADDISEN TURNER

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The Blueprint continues to grow and anytime you have a variety of talented players on hand a person like me can only be satisfied especially since no matter what court or site I attended, I was sure to find something or someone that caught my eye. Here is a dozen to get you going, more will be coming

2015

Ashley Gulley-5’8 guard (Texas Elite) Saying she committed to Baylor while in middle school should be enough however Gulley has battled injuries and came back not to mention continue to expand her game. She can score from basically anywhere on the floor and her ability to score now with either hand

Maddisen Turner-6’1 wing (RL9) Turner has showed growth every year I’ve seen her since she was four years old and after battling nagging injuries the past two seasons, she’s showing what I said about her as a freshman. Her athleticism was always there, she’s a beast in the paint but her attacking the wing and scoring with contact has exceeded my expectations

Kalanie Brown-6’6 post (Lady Pumas Black Elite) Her massive frame simply is impressive until you see her run the floor. She creates some problems in the paint, she’s strong and agile and can finish but her work ethic on the floor simply blew me away. Countless she started and finished the break outrunning everyone

Brooke Alexander-6’1 guard (United Elite Black) This young lady will simply amaze you after she does some things on the court. She can create and get her shot off against anyone plus she can take defenders off the dribble. I already knew that but her improvement on defense has been a key to completing her game

Tiffany Valentine-6’0 post (Houston Insiders) Valentine’s desire to get stronger along with her conditioning has taken her game to another level. She’s imposing in the paint and looks for the contact and can finish with ease after the hit. She’s added the ability to face the basket and score and even can take some off the dribble

2016

Joyner Holmes-6’4 forward (Heroes Elite) The first time I saw Holmes in the 8th grade she took off from the free throw line and I stood up, that hasn’t happened too many times, me standing up anticipating something. She’s expanded her game so much that I’m even amazed. She can shoot the mid and long range, handle from the wing and defend on top of the press

Amber Ramirez-5’8 guard (San Antonio Finest Blue)  Dropping ten threes in a game will definitely get you on a Tip Sheet but Ramirez has been special since I first her. Being basketball savvy and skilled at a young age was a plus however she’s a gamer that wants the ball in her hands and will take the last shot. Above all that, she’s unselfish and understands how to set up her teammates

2017

Lauren Heard-5’8 guard (Texas Elite Franey) Heard was a pleasant surprise on a very talented team. This was my first time seeing her and she simply has a knack for being wherever the ball is. She anticipates well, can defend on perimeter and she can score multiple ways

2014 Blueprint Green

NYAH GREEN

2018

Tiana Gipson- 5’9 guard (Missouri Phenoms) I was blown away after finding out what class Gipson was in because she has the tools to be huge. She has a variety of tools to choose from; she can handle the ball well in traffic, take defenders off the dribble or simply pull up and take the midrange, Her BB-IQ and ability to see the floor along with her upside sums it up

Desiree Caldwell-5’6 guard (San Antonio Finest Diamond) Caldwell continues to dazzle on the floor, you can’t really play her too close because she has a variety of moves that are hard to defend. With that being said, she gets to the rim whenever she wants but that midrange has become deadly. She’s ahead of the game with her knowledge and skill set

Christyn Williams-5’9 guard (Arkansas Elite Banshees) Williams totally impressed me back in April after a couple of minutes and she still found ways to do so this trip. She’s physical and doesn’t shy away from contact but she can score facing the basket as well. She’s also a good rebounder and defender and truly understands the game

2019

Nyah Green-6’0 wing (DFW Hawks) Add Green to list of 6th graders I called “can’t miss” as she’s going to make a run at not only MDAA honors but top player in her class. Some players have thing you just can’t teach, Green gets it and gave it to players four to five years older. She’s long and can score from anywhere plus she does damage on the defensive side
