2014 PTN Showcase Division Tip Sheet

2014 PT Tip Brown

ARIELLE BROWN

CARROLTON, Texas-The PBR Showcase Division at Prime Time Nationals paired some of the top teams against each other in round robin action. The team that had everything under control was the Arkansas Lady Bears who would have made a deep run in the HS Division behind the play of point guard Alexis Tolefree. There was plenty of buzz on the speedy guard and until I looked at the roster, it occurred to me that she made a Tip Sheet with her HS team back in December. #24 from the Dream and #25 from Team United would have made Tip Sheet if I knew who they were but here’s what I have

2015

Arielle Brown-5’9 guard (Athletic Elite-Lake Highlands HS)-Brown simply does things like guys, she’s athletic, long and can simply make defenders look invisible. She can shoot it from just about anywhere and she knows how to play the passing lane. Good defender on the perimeter and in the paint

2014 PT Tip Tolefree

ALEXIS TOLEFREE

2016

Alexis Tolefree-5’7 guard (Arkansas Lady Bears-Conway HS)-Trying to guard her is almost impossible straight up as she has moves that will make you dizzy. That first step is a killer not to mention her body control but better outside shooting caught my eye as well as her ability to see the floor, she has the total package

Alexis Greenhoward-5’9 forward (Oklahoma Stars-Luther HS)-Strong and powerful are two words that can describe Greenhoward as she simply goes after everything in the paint. She also showed that along with scoring inside, she could take defender off the dribble and when she attacks, she attacks

Destyni Clark-5’10 forward (Lady Big Dogs)-LBD is another team that would have made a legitimate run at the HS championship and after finishing second last season, each player has improved. Clark has always been one of the players I love to watch, she under the magic number of six feet by two inches yet she plays two inches over. She’s a battle, she won’t back down and she gets the job done and her improvement facing the basket to score has been huge
