2013 Metroplex Magic

2013 Dville Skyline

On my visit to the Metroplex, I didn’t take my crystal ball but then again I didn’t need it because for one thing,  Dallas Skyline may just be the second best team in the state and the way Duncanville handled them on their home court tells me that I won’t be surprised if the Pantherettes go undefeated again this season. I doubt seriously if there’s a better in the country, I don’t have the resources to travel all across the nation but I know Ariel Atkins is simply one of the best players I’ve ever seen, one of the most dominant players I’ve ever seen and a player who doesn’t play the one yet she makes her teammates better. Based on what I’ve seen on the Longhorn Network, multiple Final Fours are in store down the road, archive that quote!  Atkins and Tasia Foman have added help in Tiarra Davenport and Cierra Johnson plus and abundance of players that understand their roles and have the team first mentality and once you realize who the star is, everything should fall into place.

2013 I Mac Mc North

Skyline has only one senior, I’m thinking they have a shot at winning state next season. Alexandria Gulley is a big time player and this team has stars galore. Irving MacArthur fell to a strong McKinney North team. MacArthur is equipped with a high octane BCS player in Tory Jacobs plus another BCS player in Tana Driver if she was a few inches taller, not to mention Jazz Taylor who is nationally ranked on some services. They could conceivably make a run however that road to Austin has to travel through Duncanville, well the team.. Mc Kinney North has more than the four freshmen I rave about. Mikaehla Connor is a scoring machine and she along with Chanteria Jackson and Jocelyn Scott showed they could play on both ends. The thing about the Bulldogs is when they sub, there is no letdown, and they bring what Nolan Richardson once said about 40 minutes however they do it for only 32. This team has knocked off some 5A heavyweights and could be headed to Austin multiple years
