2016 Prime Time Nationals Sunday action #PTNBC16

2016 PTN Taylor Crawford

TAYLOR CRAWFORD

DALLAS, Texas- On championship Sunday, Girlz Prep Report correspondent Jim Johnson still on the action and drops another variety of talented young ladies

Treece Daily (Aggieland Sports Alliance) Treece used that form to help shoot her team into t ishe quarter finals by averaging 15 a game.  At 5'4 she gives it her all shooting from the outside and driving to the basket.

Shamarrow Whiting (Minden Patillo Tarheels) Shamarrow had an outstanding tourney at both ends of the floor.  Her quick hands lead to many steals and easy buckets while averaging 17 a game.

Amani McWain (Minden Patillo Tarheels) At 5'8 this natural 2/3 is active and engaged 94'.  She defends, rebounds, causes turnovers and scores.  She had a high game in the tourney of 28.  Dynamic player.

BreAuna Smith (Fort Worth Hornets) this 6' 0 sophomore is going to be a force to deal with.  Right now she is stronger defensively and rebounding, but give her some time and she can be as strong around the basket with post moves.  Excellent shot blocking timing and doesn't foul in doing so.

Taylor Crawford (Fort Worth Hornets) Taylor shows that stroke consistently and has a knack of getting to the line.  At 5'3 she is fearless going against bigs.  Averaged double digit scoring for their 5 games and grabs a lot of steals.

Loryn Wooden (Fort Worth Hornets) This 5'9 2/3 has length and speed that are a tremendous plus on def.  She runs the floor like a deer and knows how to finish.  Only a sophomore, she will be fun to watch grow and develop the next 2 yrs.

Madison Cawley (WTBA Storm) Madison helped lead her team to the 10th grade quarterfinals by playing hard-nosed at both ends of the floor.  Not afraid to drive to the basket or shoot the 3.  She averaged 12 a game in their 5 games.

Kala Williams (WTBA Storm) Kayla averaged 3 3's a game. Her 3 point accuracy fits right in with Ponder HS. Will keep an eye on this sharp shooting sophomore

Aimee Alverson (WTBA Storm ) Another drainer of the 3 from this squad.  Hit 4 in one contest.  Will take it to the basket and not afraid of contact.  She is mostly deadly when spotting up.  Only a sophomore and will be fun to watch the next 2 years at Corinth HS

J'myia Strain (Centex Lady Hoopsters) J'myia is asked to do it all and she does.  She defends rebounds and scores.  This 2020 Mexia product has plenty of upside so over the next 2 years watch out

Kierria Brimzy (Hoop Nation 365) this active 2 guard has averaged 17 throughout the tourney.  Nice jumper, but prefers to take it to the basket.

Futra Banks (Arkansas Lady Bears) Futra is a strong 2 guard both on and off the ball.  Doesn't mind leading the break and is unselfish with her teammates and could’ve easily averaged more than the 11 a game in the tourney

Cardrina Nolen (Arkansas Lady Bears)  6'0 post that knows how to get position at both ends of the floor.  Double doubles are the norm for Cardrina.  Has strong low block moves.

Destiny Rice (Hoop Nation 365 ) This is the chairman of the boards for hoop nation.  Strong rebounder who works hard to get every basket she gets.  Goes to the line often and is a good foul shooter.
