2016 Space City Jam Tip Sheet

2016 SCJ HSAA duo

HSAA duo (GRACEN WILLIAMS & GABRIELLA MUREEBA)

 

 

With another Space City Jam in the books, I had a chance to catch quite a few talented players that I hadn’t seen before as well as some I’ve been watching over the years who simply keep getting better. I’ve already gone over the players from the VARSITY championship that plays on SATCH and New Way and here are some of the others that caught my eye

 

2017

Madison Ware (NOVA) very active on both ends, plays passing lane well and also finishes strong from the wing

Amari Wright (CHSA) good body, physical and even though she’s raw in some areas, powerful in the paint.

Dezirae King (CHSA) smart PG that not only sees the floor and knows how to run a team, she’s also vocal

Halle Postma (AGGIELAND) created her shot well and was consistently nailing the midrange

Johana Hamiter (AGGIELAND) long and athletic; knows how to attack from every angle imaginable and finishes with flair

2018

Becca Gibson (NOVA) showed she could shoot the ball from long range, quick release and accurate

Marley Smith (SWLA) put on one of the best long ball exhibitions of the tournament and definitely has range. Catch and shoots with accuracy

2019

Gabriella Mureeba (HSAA) very athletic, first step is a monster and a player that is something to see in the open court. She can score and defend

Allie Conner (SWLA) breaks defense down; she’s shifty with the ball and has the “no look” down pat. Also can take over offensively

Ellie McCleod (SATCH) huge upside from this young lady, talented bloodline tells me she’s going to be good but watching certain things she did on the floor leads me to believe she could be great. Size, instincts and desire are all there

2020

Gracen Williams (HSAA) BB-IQ ahead of her years, creates well off the dribble and can shoot the ball extremely well from long range

Tori Fagan (NOVA) big upside for this young lady, great concentration on shooting the long ball under pressure with contact

Sophia Thompson (HSAA) great speed and athleticism, shoots the long ball well, good defender

Anna Thompson (HSAA) creates her shot well and can nail the midrange with players hanging on her

2022

Maggie Thompson (HSAA) I didn’t realize she was this young and if the grade isn’t a typo, huge career ahead. Understands the game, athletic and already sees the floor well against older players
