About

I coached club ball for many years and I had a chance to watch my daughter not only win a National Championship, Texas A&M, and become a college All-American but play in the WNBA many years and win a Championship (Las Vegas Aces) as well, UPDATE, Back To Back Championships

Because of the lack of coverage and knowledge in our area on the girl’s side, I decided to start a blog to help promote the game. That helped me to become a correspondent for numerous websites including Scout.com and Fullcourt.com on a national level along with several local media outlets. I can be reached by phone at (713) 291-3232 or by email at simmie@girlzprepreport.com

I branched out on my own in 2009 because the other platforms were only interested in my writing of 4 and 5-star players yet I had other ideas, like  if a player was good enough to play “at the next level” if a player was “showing on the court progression” and if a player was COMPETING and it started with my BLOG

BLOG

I decided to expand things to also include services to help both college coaches and parents. The Girlz Prep Report College Consulting service covers Texas girls’ basketball and gives you an idea of where the next-level players are, not the nonsense of overhyping players, please contact me via phone or email for further details

The Parent/Player Consulting Service is for parents and players to let them know the ins and outs of how everything works by helping the players get additional exposure to play at the next level if possible, not much of the nonsense many of you believe from others
